In March 2020, as so many others Wuzi Khan found himself in an unusual situation. En route from Portugal, instead of joining his family in Nicaragua he was stuck in Berlin.

Without anything better to do he started working on seven instrumentals he had assembled for a one-off birthday party for Sunra Bullock.: Songs about leaving, building, planting, planning, improvising, separating and reuniting that now form this mini album.

Reflecting on impressions of the last couple of years just as much as from hopes for the future, grooving seductively, and informed with Afro-Latin and lusophonic rhythm sensibility, these tunes can be enjoyed at home as well on a surprising variety of dance floors, cantinas and festivities. So please do!
